Pasuma-1Fuji star, Wasiu Alabi Odetola, well known by his stage moniker, Pasuma Wonder, turned 48 years old yesterday, November 27. Popularly call Oganla (Big Boss), the Kwara indigene who was born and brought up in Mushin, Lagos, where he attended Muslim Mission Primary School from 1973 to 1979 after which he moved to Nigerian Model High School for his secondary education started showing signs of taking up a musical career while in secondary school.

Pasuma came into limelight after the release of his debut album titled Recognition in 1993, and released a follow-up album, Choices in 1994 before his hit album, Orobokibo in 1995, which earned him several awards including the ‘Best Fuji Artiste of The Year’.

With a career spanning over three decades, Pasuma has paid his dues and has continued to garner accolades from all over. He is also one the most successful crossover musicians in the industry having released his debut hip-hop album which features some of the biggest pop artistes in Nigeria.
