The charity is amid Nigeria’s economic challenges, which have left many struggling with the declining purchasing power of the naira.
Moronfolu’s charitable initiatives have been particularly impactful in Alimosho Local Government Area and surrounding communities.
His foundation has supported entrepreneurs with financial aid to boost their businesses and provided Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms to students seeking admission into tertiary institutions.
Widows and widowers have also benefited from his outreach programs, reinforcing his commitment to uplifting vulnerable groups.
“It has been a lifelong dream to impact my society, especially the needy, less privileged, and widows, putting smiles on their faces, giving them a sense of belonging, and instilling confidence in them,” Moronfolu shared.
As an active member of the Ikeja New Era Lions Club, he aligns his efforts with the club’s core values of service and giving back to the community.
Beyond philanthropy, Moronfolu is also making an impact through sports as he is the Team Owner of Oprah Jay FC, a football club competing in the 2025 Gospel Footy League (Season 4).
The club began its campaign on February 22, 2025, with a goalless draw against Victory FC in the six-team league.
However, his football initiatives go beyond competition as Oprah Jay FC also runs a football academy focused on identifying, nurturing, and grooming young talents.
Moronfolu sees the academy as a platform to steer youths away from crime and provide them with opportunities to build a future through football.
“This is another avenue through which I can take miscreants and hooligans off the streets. With their God-given talent, they can showcase their abilities and carve a niche for themselves. This will help in eradicating crime from our environment,” he explained.
As a graduate of Political Science from Tai Solarin University of Education, Moronfolu remains passionate about transforming Alimosho and its environs through empowerment and sports development.
His efforts are a testament to the power of community-driven solutions in tackling poverty and youth restiveness.
The former Secretary of Ikeja New Era Lion Club said his aspiration is to positively impact his environment, most especially Alimosho LG Area and its environs.
