IN life, we all need energy, power and strength. We have been told that we cannot do any piece of work without the potential energy that becomes kinetic. Energy is the starting point of power. The rate of getting work done is called power; where available energy has been utilised to carry out specific work or assignment. Power depends on available energy and the DURATION OF POWER is classified as STRENGTH OR STAMINA.

The continuous capability to keep on displaying power is called STRENGTH. It is not enough to have energy or power, the continuous application and utilisation of energy or power must be sustained. When you have strength or stamina, you do not lose the steam of power. 1 Samuel 2:9 says: “by the strength of man shall no man prevail” In life, energy and power are consumed continuously. The longevity or duration of power, which is STRENGTH can only be obtained from God. Acts 1:8 (AMP)

“But you shall receive POWER, ABILITY, EFFICIENCY AND MIGHT, WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT has COME UPON YOU and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends, the very bounds of the earth”. Without the Holy Spirit, we cannot go on getting results. The Holy Spirit IS THE POWER AND ENERGY THAT MAKES GOD, GOD. And God has made available to us, the THIRD PERSON of the Godhead to abide with us perpetually.

The Scripture declares that as we wait, rely and trust in the Holy Spirit, our strength will always be renewed. Are you tired, weak or facing daunting challenges? It is time to wait on the LORD and receive inexhaustible energy. Despite the fact that the youths carry potential energy, the Word says they can fail or grow weary and exhausted, but those who look to the LORD for strength will never fail. They will refresh, renew, recharge and fly. Psalm 27:14 “Wait on the LORD, be of good courage and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say on the LORD”

PRAYER: Father God, I come to You with my weakness. I come to wait upon You for Supernatural Energy, Power and Strength. Father, cause me to mount up with wings as the eagles. I will walk, run and not faint. Help me Oh LORD.
