Firms to improve aesthetic products, healthcare workers’ training

A Global firm, Allergan Aesthetics, has launched operations in Nigeria through an exclusive partnership with Pharaon Healthcare Nigeria (PHN). The deal grants PHN exclusive access to distribute Allergan’s science-based aesthetics products, including facial injectables, to Nigerian hospitals, clinics, and qualified beauty professionals.

Speaking on the partnership during a press conference in Lagos, the company’s Marketing Manager for South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa, Michelle Nixon, described Nigeria as a high-potential market with a fast-growing demand for advanced aesthetic solutions.

“We’re excited to bring Allergan Aesthetics’ innovative portfolio to Nigeria, a market with immense potential and a quality-conscious clientele,” Nixon said.

She explained that the brand’s mission is to empower individuals with trusted, science-backed products that support self-confidence and authenticity.
Also speaking, the Regional Sales Manager for Pharaon Healthcare Africa, Anwar El Homsy, said the partnership would improve aesthetic healthcare in Nigeria by offering advanced tools, clinical education, and training to local professionals.

“This exclusive distributorship marks a significant milestone for Nigeria’s aesthetics and healthcare sector,” El Homsy said, adding that PHN is ready to help raise the standard of patient care.

The companies said the partnership will also prioritise training for healthcare workers, including global best practices and safety protocols in aesthetic medicine.

The products under Allergan Aesthetics are designed to suit a wide range of skin types and cosmetic needs. The company also reaffirmed its commitment to its global ‘Journey to Individuality’ campaign, which encourages personalised treatments and natural-looking results.
