After the release of her hit singles Fix Me and Yekile, former Nigerian Idol star, Naomi Mac, who was first runner-up in the maiden edition of the music reality show, followed up with My Heart featuring YBNL artiste Adekunle Gold.
Produced by Psykes and Mixed by Simi, the track, which has a video directed by Mex, is a lovely ballad that is rendered in a beautiful mix of Yoruba & English; it gets you thinking about love.
Ahead of her debut album, which is likely to drop this year, Naomi has released the video of her first official single in 2016, Mujo, a pop song sung in English. Shot in Lagos, the completely hot visual was directed by prolific video director Obi Martins.
Ranging from a beautiful set and an amazing storyline, the music video explores dance and happiness in its highest form.
Speaking on the video, the singer said, “It’s still the beginning of a new year and there’s a reason for every Nigerian to be happy, this is why Mujo came to life, to make everyone happy and also hit the dance floor.”
