‘A lot of health disorders Africans suffer emanate from poor lifestyles’
Dr. Jeph Akaehie is the CEO, Greenpower Healthcare Limited. A science laboratory technologist and renowned natural medicine expert, he spoke with GREGORY AUSTIN NWAKUNOR on natural wellness.
Who is Dr. Jeph Akaehie?
I’m a passionate entrepreneur and God chaser. I happen to be the founding CEO of Greenpower Healthcare Limited (Africa’s No. 1 Natural Wellness Products Manufacturer). I have spent over six years of my life studying businesses and understanding how best we can solve Africa’s pressing health challenges using 100 per cent organic ingredients and that is what drives us. Well, to be honest, I am not good at book-keeping but I am very good at business development. I have been able to bring in best hands that fill up the areas I am not good at.
What is Greenpower Healthcare all about?
We are a manufacturer of quality natural wellness products geared towards helping millions of Africans achieve total wellness using 100 per cent natural formulas. We have created brands that are recognised globally and we ship our products globally. We are establishing presence in Namibia while we are already in Ghana and Cameroun. We are a growing African company.
As a company, natural wellness matters most to us. Our products help individuals count in their societies, become sound mentally and physically stable without resulting to further problems while on the process. Aside manufacturing these amazing products, we do not neglect the importance of educating Africans how to achieve total wellness through their lifestyles, which include proper dieting, exercising, etc.
In Africa, a large number of health disorders we suffer today emanate from poor lifestyles. It is critical that our Africans get educated on how to make our lives a healthier and happy one through wellness programmes.
Irrespective of a person’s age, size, race or shape, it is wellness that is the cornerstone of quality of life. Therefore wellness is everyone’s business and we will not limit out reach. We will have programmes for teenagers and adults.
We are a team of medical doctors, microbiologists, biochemists, nutritionists and laboratory scientists and we are doing our best to put up a well-structured wellness programme for Africans. We are passionate about natural wellness. However, there is still need to partner with other health professionals. There is a saying that says “if you want to go fast, go alone but if you want to go far, go with others.” We believe we can do more through partnership.
What has been the greatest challenge of making Africans embrace your wellness product?
We have done a great work in manufacturing outstanding and effective brands but I think we need to do more of educational projects. Africans need to know more about how our products can better and enrich their lives. We are gradually working on this. We also recognise the importance of partnering with healthcare professionals, as we can’t achieve this alone as a company.
As an individual, are you proud of what you have accomplished so far?
The feedbacks we get from our customers. We get testimonies from those who have been trying to achieve pregnancy for over 10 years. Some use our product for just 30 days others have to use it up to 90 days. We have over 2,000 verifiable success stories from across Africa. Our flagship brand (FreeFlow Capsule) is really making us proud. This capsule is highly recommended for female fertility and it is designed to correct menstrual disorder, lack of ovulation (anovulation) and premature ovarian failure, thereby making it naturally easier for conception to take place. FreeFlow has been used successfully by thousands of women with the following situations: Ovarian Cysts, Absence of Ovulation Women with seized or irregular menstrual cycle, Women trying to conceive for an extended period of time, Women experiencing Vaginal Dryness & Low Libido.
FreeFlow has been used effectively to treat and attack bacteria that can cause infections and disorder in the body such as Streptococcus, Staphylococcus and E. coli due to its antibacterial properties.
Secondly, we were shocked to get a deal from the Deputy Minister of Health, Namibia who is currently helping us register our brands in Namibia. This deal was concluded at the Medic West Africa Exhibition where we exhibited as the only made in Nigeria products manufacturer. We are getting better day-by-day.
We are proud of our accomplishment so far even though we strongly believe we can do better. We do not believe we have arrived and we therefore challenge our present daily to keep growing and improving. I hope to be leading an organization with presence in about 15 African countries and our brands becoming the preferred brands across Nigeria and Africa. Developing brands that deliver is my greatest accomplishment so far.
