In their characteristic manner of breaking new boundaries, a Nigerian Ruti Olajugbagbe, has won The Voice UK. She trained under the scrutiny of her coach Sir Tom Jones.

The 18-year-old broke down when Emma Willis announced her the winner of the competition. She takes home the prize money of £100,000 prize and is now signed to Polydor Records.

Her single Dreams was immediately made available after her win.
