Taylor Swift received Best Video of the Year Awards at the 2022 VMA’s

The MTV Video Music Awards 2022 saw Taylor Swift win the Video of the Year award. She also used the opportunity to positively shock fans by revealing a fresh new album, “Midnights,” and confirming the release date. On October 21, the album is scheduled to be posted to all platforms.

The publication reads, “We lie awake in love and in fear, in turmoil and in tears. We stare at walls and drink until they speak back. We twist in our self-made cages and pray that we aren’t – right this minute – about to make some fateful life-altering mistake. This is a collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams. The floors we pace and the demons we face. For all of us who have tossed and turned and decided to keep the lanterns lit and go searching – hoping that just maybe, when the clock strikes twelve … we’ll meet ourselves.”

She expressed her pride for the “All Too Well (10-Minute Version)” and added, “You guys, I’m just so proud of what we made, and I know that every second of this moment that we wouldn’t have been able to do this short film if it weren’t for you, the fans.”

Thanking her and she said, “Because I wouldn’t be able to re-record my album [‘Red (Taylor’s Version),’ which included the winning song] if it weren’t for you. You emboldened me to do that. And I had sort of made up my mind that if you were going to be this generous and give us this, I thought it might be a fun moment to tell you that my brand-new album comes out Oct. 21. And I will tell you more at midnight.”
