Akon releases new single, Beautiful Day

Aliaune Badara Akon Thiam popularly known as Akon has recently released a new single, Beautiful Day.

The song was released on October 3, 2024.

Akon took to his Instagram page to notify his fans of the latest single in his caption: “It’s a beautiful day for new music.”

“Beautiful Day” is a feel-good anthem that celebrates life’s simple pleasures. The singer appreciates God for “pain,” “Joy” and “sunshine”.

The song also adds that this world can be hard and want to drive one out of control but no matter how life goes, everybody should “take it easy and live life slow”.

The song’s catchy melody and Akon’s smooth vocals are sure to get listeners hooked.
Recall that the chorus of the song, “Beautiful Day” has been trending for a while, but no singer successfully put a name to it before now.

The Senegalese-born rapper and music producer first rose to fame in the early 2000s with his hit singles “Locked Up” and “Lonely.”

Akon is also known for his philanthropic work. He has founded the Akon Lighting Africa initiative, which aims to bring solar power to millions of people in Africa. A has also donated millions of dollars to various charities, including UNICEF and the Red Cross.

The Konvicted crooner is a Muslim and a father of four kids. Akon moved to the United States when he was seven years old and started his music career as a DJ in New Jersey.
