Osazee ‘Bazzzuuu’ Bazuaye is Nigeria’s hospitality king

The name Osazee Bazuaye may not ring a bell to many, but Bazzzuuu, as he is popularly known, is undoubtedly the Moses taking Nigeria’s hospitality sector to its place of glory and international reckoning.

Bazzzuuu is the owner of Brass&Cooper restaurant and bar, Strathaven boutique hotel, and Cocoon lounge in Lagos; The Council restaurant, Candy Nitelife and Quo Abuja niteclub, TOPPFCT, a roof top bar and restaurant in Abuja and Oxygene bar n lounge in Benin. First class and excellence service delivery are the hall marks of the restaurants associated with the Edo-born businessman.

The entrepreneur studied economics at the Ambrose Alli University, Benin City, and later went to the London College of Accounting, to acquire relevant academic prowess for management.

Bazzzuuu leaves no guessing about his knack for setting precedence in standard quality of service delivery, and can boast of operating the best sets of restaurant and bar, and lounge in the country.

The founder of Edo Greatness Initiative (EGI), an initiative established to keep “promoting the greatness of Edo State ,its rich culture and people”, launched The Cocoon Lagos, an ultra modern lounge six years ago, and it operates from Thursdays to Sundays of every week themed Sundaze.

And since then, he has continued to raise the bar. Two years after, he confirmed himself as the hospitality boss in the country with Brass&Copper restaurant and bar; a beauty to behold in both menu, service delivery and ambiance, located in the serene and homey Lekki Phase 1 area of Lagos State.

Brass&Copper has become the place for all races, simply because of its professionalism, excellent services and unbelievable menu.

“Is an all day restaurant and bar that takes the dimension of a lounge from 7pm with a live DJ, exotic cocktails great food and excellent bottle service,” Bazzzuuu, who is a board of trustees Nigeria Bar, Club and Nitelife Association stated.

The UNIBEN alumni expanded to Abuja and replicated the same excellent at the centre of Nigeria’s seat of political power with strings of restaurants and bars.

“We have Oxygene bar n lounge Benin, Candy nite life Abuja, Strathaven boutique hotel Lagos, Cocoon lounge Lagos, Quo Abuja nite club, The Council restaurant Abuja and TOPPFCT,  a roof top bar and restaurant”, Bazzzuuu stated in a recent question and answer session.

The icing on the cake is his relationship with the oldest congnac house, Martell.

“Brass&Copper has hosted periodic events promoting the oldest cognac house Martell. Brass&Copper was the first bar n restaurant to aggressive promote Martell. Brass&Copper has been a great venture opened every for the past 4 years approaching 5years.  It was celebrated with a lot of pomp n show sponsored by Martell; Martell is the official cognac of Brass&Copper,”  stated Bazzzuuu.
