Africa’s largest international beauty exhibition is preparing for its grandest edition as Beauty West Africa 2025 returns to the Landmark Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, from 25 to 27 November. With over 300 exhibitors from across the globe and an expected 6,000 visitors, organisers say this year’s event will showcase the growing influence and potential of Africa’s beauty and personal care industry.
Now in its latest edition, Beauty West Africa has become a major platform for professionals across the cosmetics, skincare, haircare, and wellness sectors. The exhibition will occupy all four halls of the Landmark Centre, reflecting both the industry’s expansion and the event’s increasing global appeal.
According to organisers BtoB Events, this year’s show will include country pavilions featuring exhibitors from China, Turkey, and Pakistan, alongside participants from more than 50 other nations, including the United States, United Arab Emirates, Ghana, Italy, the United Kingdom, France, and Syria. Nigerian and West African entrepreneurs, particularly small and medium enterprises, will also take centre stage, highlighting homegrown innovation in beauty and wellness.
The Beauty West Africa Conference, which runs concurrently with the exhibition, will feature industry experts, influencers, and senior figures from leading global and African brands. Conference sessions are expected to explore new market trends, technology, sustainability, and consumer behaviour within the fast-growing beauty space.
Nigeria’s beauty and personal care industry continues to expand at a remarkable pace. Data from Statista projects that the sector will generate more than ₦15 trillion (US$10.17 billion) in 2025, with an anticipated annual growth rate of 15.7% through 2030. Cosmetics alone are forecast to contribute approximately ₦2.8 trillion (US$1.88 billion) this year.
Speaking ahead of the event, Georgina Lloyd, Exhibition Manager at BtoB Events, described Beauty West Africa as a vital meeting point for the continent’s beauty professionals. She said this year’s edition “will feature more international and local exhibitors than ever before, offering visitors the chance to discover the latest trends, innovations and business opportunities shaping the industry.”
Lloyd added that visitors can expect exclusive product launches, live demonstrations, and expanded networking opportunities, with returning conference partner Beauty in Lagos helping to curate a vibrant and insightful programme.
Feedback from past editions suggests that Beauty West Africa has become a trusted platform for building partnerships, discovering emerging brands, and understanding market direction in one of Africa’s most dynamic industries. As Lloyd put it, the 2025 edition aims to continue “celebrating creativity, driving growth, and shaping the future of beauty across the continent.”
