Nicholas Mooney who allegedly suffered from mental health problems snapped during the lockdown and killed his dad, James, and himself at their home in Paisley according to Daily Record.

After murdering his father at the family home, he then wrote a note in blood explaining his actions. James was 60 and his son 23.

According to record, he stabbed his dad and then turned the knife on himself.

Officers who arrived at their Paisley, last Thursday night found notes written in blood and blood all over the property. Nicholas also used an iPad to explain what he’d done.

In the words of one of the people present at the scene of investigation:

It was a murder-suicide, and it’s an absolute tragedy. There were notes written in blood in the house. Nicholas stabbed his dad and then killed himself in the bath. He left a bloody note on the shower screen where they found him. The note said something like, ‘It’s nothing to do with anybody else’. There were arrows drawn in blood on the note, pointing down to his iPad, which was on the bathroom floor. The iPad had more details on it.

After investigation, the detective in charge of the case, Detective Inspector Erin Renwick, of Police Scotland’s Major Investigation Team, said:

Following postmortem examinations, the death of the 60-year-old man is being treated as murder. The death of the 23-year-old man is not being treated as suspicious. Although our detailed investigation is continuing to establish the exact circumstances, we do believe that it was contained within this house and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.

The content of what was on the Ipad has not been released for the public.
