Bayern Munich’s forward, Harry Kane, recently shared his admiration for Afrobeats sensation Burna Boy in an interview with ESPN UK.

The 31-year-old footballer, also the captain of England’s national team, disclosed that Burna Boy’s latest track, “Big 7,” is his favorite. While also admitting he would like to see him perform live.

In the interview, Kane expressed the profound impact Burna Boy’s music has on him, noting how “Big 7” consistently resonates whenever he listens to it. Reflecting on his days back at Tottenham Hotspurs, he has always enjoyed the Nigerian musician.

When asked about the last song stuck in his head, Kane enthusiastically mentioned, “You know, ‘Big 7’ from Burna Boy? Yeah, I do like Burna Boy, to be fair. It just popped into my head there.”

In a playful exploration of his music preferences, Kane was asked about the artist he’d love to see perform live. Without hesitation, he replied, “Maybe someone like Burna Boy or Dave, you know.”

Burnaboy alongside Davido, Asake, and Olamide are all vying for a win as well as parts of the representations for Africa at the Grammys award scheduled for later this year.
