Cardi B Gets Emotional in Live Video Addressing Offset
Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B poured out her emotions in an Instagram Live video on Friday, directed at her estranged husband Offset. Although Cardi’s face was not visible in the video, her heartfelt message was clear as she spoke directly to the camera.
In the live session, Cardi voiced her frustrations, expressing how she felt played by Offset repeatedly. She highlighted that he seemed to enjoy playing games with her during vulnerable moments. Cardi disclosed that while Offset celebrated his birthday with a star-studded party on Thursday, she refrained from any activities, emphasizing her commitment to the relationship.
She said, “A m***a f**ka will play in your f**king face, over and over again, until you be like watch what I’m about to do, watch what I’m about to say. This m***a f**ka really like to play games with me when I’m at my most vulnerable time. When I’m not the most confident.”
The emotional rapper revealed how she had been holding back in addressing issues with Offset. She criticized him for not acknowledging her support throughout the years, especially considering her instrumental role in his success. The tearful Cardi expressed her disappointment, saying, “After so many fking years that I ma fkn helped your a, not even a fking thank you that I got from your bh a**.”
Cardi concluded the video by explaining that resorting to the internet was necessary because Offset doesn’t take her seriously when she communicates directly with him. She also took to Twitter, now known as X, in a since-deleted tweet, calling out Offset.
@OffsetYRN you a b***h a** n—- …and trust me imma f**kn take it there,” she wrote.
This emotional Instagram Live session follows Cardi’s confirmation four days ago that she has been “single for a minute,” officially ending her relationship with Offset. The announcement came amid claims from rapper Blueface that Offset had been involved with his ex-girlfriend during his relationship with Cardi. Offset vehemently denied the allegations.
Cardi’s relationship with Offset has faced ups and downs, marked by her filing for divorce twice during their marriage. As of now, the “Money” rapper has not filed any legal documents. The couple, who married in 2017, shares two children: daughter Kulture, 5, and son Wave, 2. Offset is also a father to three other children from previous relationships. Fans had speculated trouble in paradise when Offset and Cardi unfollowed each other on social media earlier this month.
