Christians in Film and Creative Arts (CIFAC) Global Network is set to bring together Christian professionals across Nigeria’s entertainment and creative industries at its 2026 festival in Lagos in November.

The festival, themed “The Creator’s DNA (A Jesus Party),” will explore the relationship between faith, creativity and cultural influence through worship, panel discussions, networking sessions and artistic performances.

The organisers said the event would provide Christian creatives with opportunities to build professional relationships, share experiences and explore ways of integrating their faith with their careers.

The festival comes as Nigeria’s creative industry continues to play a significant role in shaping public conversations and reaching audiences beyond the country, with film, music, fashion, visual arts and digital content serving as major channels of cultural expression.

Speaking on the vision behind the initiative, the founder of CIFAC Global Network, Hannah Nwasor, said the organisation was established to support Christians in the creative industries and encourage them to express their faith through their work.

She said: “CIFAC exists to bring Christian creatives together, to remind them that they do not have to separate their faith from their creativity, and to encourage them to pursue excellence in their fields.

“We believe creativity is a gift from God, and we want to see that gift expressed with purpose, authenticity and excellence across the creative industries.”

Founded in November 2025, CIFAC Global Network is a community of Christians working across film and other creative fields. It seeks to promote fellowship, mentorship, collaboration and shared opportunities while encouraging members to pursue excellence in their respective professions.

According to the organisers, the festival will feature the ministry of the Word, worship and artistic expressions of faith.

The programme will also feature a women’s panel examining how women can achieve success in the entertainment industry while upholding their values and convictions.

A separate panel for men will address the experiences, challenges and pressures faced by men working in the entertainment industry, particularly issues that are not often openly discussed.

Other highlights will include a dedicated prayer session for talent and career, short film screenings and dance performances.

The organisers said an empowerment initiative would also be introduced to help emerging filmmakers and craftspeople take practical steps towards establishing their careers.

Beyond the festival, CIFAC plans to build a community that supports creatives at different stages of their professional journeys through mentorship, collaboration, career development and access to opportunities.

The event is expected to attract filmmakers, actors, screenwriters, musicians, visual artists, fashion designers, content creators and other professionals interested in the intersection of faith and creativity.

Details of the venue, participating guests, and attendance arrangements will be announced later.
