Voltaire Hosts Art X Lagos After-Party

By Chidirim Ndeche 18 November 2017   |   3:46 pm

If you attended Art X Lagos, you probably had mixed feelings, from the frustration of finding where to park your car because the place was packed with attendees to going around Civic Centre and reeling at all the beautiful works of art.

The event exceeded the typically high expectations of everyone, added to the delivery of the after-party hosted by the Voltaire Arts Club.

Voltaire, a member-only Arts club, curated a fitting after party inspired by the theme ‘Industrial Art Rave’. Supported by celebrated photographer, Logor Olumuyiwa, the VIP After-Party brought Lagos’ social and cultural elite out to a night of sheer indulgence.

With candle-light competing with strobe lighting to create a psychedelic effect, entranced guests were ushered unto a dance floor that overlooked the Atlantic Ocean. Absolut also indulged guests in a delightful assortment of inspired cocktails and carefully crafted canapés by Chef Benedict.

The collaboration with ART X Lagos was the latest in a series of perfectly curated experiences.

Established as a hub for creatives from sectors as diverse as art, design, fashion, film, history, spoken word, music, performance, photography, and theatre to name a few, Voltaire recognised Art X Lagos as a worthy platform for art enthusiasts from across the continent to come together to meet, exchange ideas, dine and participate in inspiring events.

The VIP After Party was a further attempt by Voltaire to claim its place at the heart of the contemporary cultural scene in West Africa.
