Exercise is as important as food as it helps strengthen our body and at times, helps repair a broken system. The importance of exercise in boosting men’s libido cannot be overemphasised. According to some medical study by Mary Claire Haver, M.D., an ob-gyn at the University of Texas Medical Branch, exercise equals a higher sex drive and better sexual function.

Below are some exercises to boost libido for men:

Weight/Strength Lifting
This is one of the best exercises to boost your libido as a man. The primary boost for a better sex drive is testosterone and this is achieved via the strength lifting exercise. According to Everyday Health, to improve your sex life, do some push-ups, sit-ups, and crunches.
These muscle-building exercises can help lead to better sex by strengthening the shoulders, chest, and abs. Strong upper body strength can increase stamina since these muscles are used during intercourse. Also, this exercise helps to relieve stress and reduced stress interprets as better libido.

Kegels
This exercise helps to delay ejaculation in men. This exercise can help endurance and control by toning the pubococcygeus (PC) muscles. To do Kegels, start by interrupting the flow of urine when going to the bathroom to get familiar with your PC muscles. After that, you can do Kegels anytime and anyplace by squeezing the PC muscles. Hold for 10 seconds, relax, and do as many reps as you can before tiring.

Yoga
As stated in Everyday Health, some Yoga poses improve the pelvic muscle. Yoga poses such as; Bow Pose, Peacock Pose (also called the Forearm or Elbow Balance), and Shoulder Stand. Also, Practitioners of Ayurvedic yoga have long claimed that the practice helps with a variety of sexual disorders. Researchers who conducted a low-power study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine found that yoga helped with premature ejaculation, and was recommended as a safe and effective non-pharmacological option. Yoga is an exercise that improves flexibility, the better the flexibility, the better the sex and better the libido.

Walking
Walking as easy as it seems helps achieve a better libido. Harvard researchers found that aerobic exercise resulted in a 30-percent lower risk of erectile dysfunction (ED) in a study of 31,000 men above the age of 50. Brisk walking is thought to help erectile dysfunction by improving circulation and blood flow. In the same vein, a health professor said fast walking, running, and other aerobic activities help improve sex life for the same reason that they prevent heart attacks, hence, it is important to indulge in this once in a while for better libido.

Push-up and Sit-ups
Basic floor exercises such as push-ups and sit-ups are very important in boosting libido as these exercises strengthen the chest, the shoulder and the abdominals. When these muscles are well developed, it ensures a lasting moment of pleasure as well as better strength in the abdominals, this also ensures there is delayed orgasm, better libido and zero erectile dysfunction.
