Something About The Briggs
‘Something About the Briggs’ is a Nollywood drama that peels back the layers of a seemingly perfect family, exposing deep-seated secrets and unresolved conflicts. Exploring themes of love, marriage, and forgiveness, the film follows the Briggs, a wealthy but fractured family struggling to hold it together as hidden truths threaten to tear them apart. Written, directed, and produced by Bukola Ogunsola, who drew inspiration from personal experiences and social media, the film features an ensemble cast, including Liz Benson-Ameye, Bukky Wright, Norbert Young, Zack Orji, Gloria Young, Daniel Etim-Effiong, Rita Dominic, Iyabo Ojo, Stan Nze, among others.
The Herd
‘The Herd’ follows the journey of Gosi, who travels to Ekiti for his best friend Derin’s wedding. What begins as a joyous occasion quickly turns into a nightmare when, on their way back to the hotel, the newlyweds are ambushed by bandits disguised as cattle herdsmen. Led by Halil, a ruthless leader of a breakaway gang, the group is taken hostage and forced into the depths of the forest. Among the captors is Anas, Halil’s lieutenant, who harbours an unsettling interest in Derin. Meanwhile, Garba, a DSS officer in charge of the anti-kidnapping unit in Ekiti, is pulled from his wife’s hospital bedside—where she has just given birth—to take charge of the unfolding crisis. Starring Mercy Aigbe, Daniel Etim-Effiong, Genoveva Umeh, Deyemi Okanlawon, and Kunle Remi, ‘The Herd’ is a movie that explores survival, sacrifice, and the fight against terror.
Snow White
‘Snow White’ is the story of a beautiful young girl who takes refuge in the forest, finding shelter in the home of seven dwarfs as she escapes from her wicked stepmother, the Queen. Consumed by jealousy, the Queen desires to be known as “the fairest in the land,” but Snow White’s beauty threatens her claim. Starring Gal Gadot, Rachel Zegler, Andrew Burnap, and Ansu Kabia, the film brings a fresh take on the beloved classic, filled with magic, danger, and the enduring battle between good and evil.
Reel Love
‘Reel Love’ delves into the complexities of a love triangle, exploring the resilience of the human heart and the beauty of life’s unexpected turns. When emotions collide and loyalties are tested, the characters must navigate the fine line between love and loss. Starring Timini Egbuson, Efa Iwara, Dakore Akande, Bimbo Ademoye, Funke Akindele, and Shaffy Bello, the film captures the essence of passion, heartbreak, and self-discovery in a way that resonates deeply.
The Cartel
‘The Cartel’ tells the story of a notorious fraudster who runs a powerful cartel, navigating a world where survival is the only rule. But when the stakes rise, Amanda is forced into a desperate fight to save her brother, who gets caught in the syndicate’s deadly web. Starring Rosemary Zimu, Brenda Wairimu, Nino B, Anton Jeftha, Chika Ike, Broda Shaggi, Clarion Chukwura, Josh2Funny, and Nkechi Blessing, the film explores deception, power, and the cost of redemption.
