Nollywood star Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, popularly called Omosexy, has shared her gratitude to God after a life-threatening health challenge nearly knocked her off her feet.
The celebrated actress, aged 46, took to Instagram on Thursday, November 28, 2024, to recount how severe back pain, chest pain, and relentless vomiting landed her in the emergency room not once but three times before doctors finally diagnosed the issue.

Omotola revealed that the ordeal happened while she was busy with her career, juggling film projects and attending the Academy Voting Members’ screening of Gladiator II in the United States. Despite the chaos, she managed to keep pushing through until her body couldn’t take it anymore.
She shared, “The doctor came in and said you have to go in immediately for surgery! … to Remove your Gall-gladder !!! It was so dilated, the doctors wondered how I was not in more pain. More pain???!”
Reflecting on her recovery, she added, “So the Fight for my Life began and today I am returning to Give all the Glory to God. So on this day, whether you’re in the US or not, there’s so much to thank God for, take some time to join in and give thanks.”
