Nollywood veteran, Ngozi Ezeonu, has denied recent rumours of her death, addressing the speculation via an Instagram video.

Ezeonu clarified, “I am alive and healthy,” expressing frustration over social media assumptions fueled by a recent post where she paid tribute to a departed friend with a candle image.

In response to the rumors, she urged responsible journalism, stating, “In journalism, what you do when in doubt is you leave out. Don’t post without confirmation. This is a new year; let’s promote positivity.”

Ezeonu expressed concern about the distressing calls she received, emphasizing the need for responsible reporting in the entertainment industry.
