I’d rather work for myself – Paul Okoye on P-Square split
Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, has made it clear that he’s done with working for others, especially when it comes to sharing the spotlight.
During a recent Instagram live session, he expressed his frustration, stating, “I’d rather work for myself than for another to benefit.”
This came shortly after the P-Square duo, which he was part of with his twin brother Peter, disbanded again.

The popular group, once crowned “Best African Group” by Forbes Africa, initially split in 2017 due to a “family feud” but reunited in 2021.
Unfortunately, that reunion was short-lived, as they have now parted ways again.
Paul, in his live session, emphasised that he’s tired of doing most of the work while others get the credit.
He also accused his brother Peter, better known as Mr P, of calling the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on him.
In his words, “Those days of monkey dey work, baboon dey chop, I no dey do again. Every time, only me dey sing all the songs. I no dey do again.”
