Are you, without a doubt, outgoing, vibrant, and the life of the party? Or are you, in fact, an extremely sad human, empty on the inside, who needs the hustle and bustle of human interaction to survive?
Well, extroverts can be said to be the bane of introverts’ existence.

This group is always said to be doing the most to bring introverts out of their ‘shell’ and interact more. An extrovert does not ever see or understand why introverts just want to exist with reserved caution, and it is this lack of understanding and reflectiveness that makes the majority of extroverts simply unbearable.

To be deeply rooted in the fight against humans being able to love their own company, there are some things you could actually learn from them.
Here are a few ways you, extroverts, can be quiet and reflective. It is necessary once in a while.

FIND OUT WHAT IT IS
You need to be certain you are simply outgoing and not masking something deep-seated. As an extrovert, it is very easy to rely on others to make you happy when you are not feeling like it. It is extremely easy to mask the sadness with laughter, you are the life of the party after all so no one wants to see you with a downward smile, everyone comes to you for that comical moment, people want to be with you because you make it happen. But then, they never ever know what you are really going through on the inside; no one can ask you ‘are you okay?’ because that is never you, ever! Be certain to get the help you do need.

FIND A BALANCE
For a few minutes daily, read a book, do not seek out company, and learn about yourself. You can be an extrovert, and also, introvert, as well. It is a good balance. What most people do not know about introverts is that they do very much get extroverted, but this only ever happens with those who are really close to them. They are not always gloomy or lost in their own thoughts, they too have moments of glee; things that spark joy and make them go. The same could be said of extroverts. Find a balance; make a way for you to calmly be part of something magical.

BE STILL
It might come as a shock to most extroverts that they too can be silent. It might seem like taboo to them, but once in a while, it is necessary to keep still, even for a moment. Not only does it help revitalize you, it gives you a moment of calm, which also allows you to distress. There is absolutely nothing wrong with giving yourself a pep talk. You can start by taking a stroll, alone, with no headphones, no company, no stopping to chat for longer than a minute. And it is okay if you have no thoughts pop up while you do, blank is good too, the key is, you had a moment to yourself and that is a great avenue for reflecting right there.
