Social media personality, Ojaigho Prosper, popularly known as GehGeh, has questioned whether TikTok star Habeeb Hamzat, also known as Peller, is ready for marriage following news that he paid the bride price of his partner, Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis or Jadrolita.

Reacting in a post on X on Sunday, GehGeh argued that financial success alone should not be used to measure a person’s readiness for marriage.

“Y’all are justifying his act with ‘he has the money allow him’. But y’all failed to ask yourself if he’s ready mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Everything isn’t all about the money,” he wrote.

GehGeh’s comment came shortly after Peller announced that he had fulfilled traditional marriage rites with Jarvis.

Sharing a video from the ceremony on Instagram, Peller expressed excitement about the next phase of their relationship and revealed that both families had given their blessings.

“Today, I proudly paid the bride price of the woman I love,” he wrote.

“A beautiful journey has officially begun and I’m grateful to both families for their blessings.

“She said yes to forever and now it’s time to build our future together.

“Officially off the market.”

The video showed Peller dressed in a white shirt, George wrapper and red coral beads, while Jarvis wore a red wrapper with matching coral accessories and a beaded crown.

The development comes weeks after Peller proposed to Jarvis during a visit to Ghana.

A video from the proposal showed the content creator going down on one knee before presenting an engagement ring to her in the presence of friends and guests. Jarvis accepted the proposal.

The couple’s relationship has remained a subject of public interest, particularly after a highly publicised breakup several months ago.

At the time, Peller announced that he and Jarvis had gone their separate ways and even vowed never to date or marry a Nigerian woman again.

The pair later sparked reconciliation rumours after they were repeatedly seen together in social media videos and public appearances.

Their latest traditional marriage ceremony appears to have put speculation about their relationship to rest, although GehGeh’s remarks have since sparked fresh debate online about whether financial capacity alone is enough preparation for marriage.
