Kanye West will no longer be performing at the 2022 Coachella festival scheduled to begin next weekend in Indio, CA.
TMZ reports that sources close to the rapper confirmed his decision to pull the plug on his performance, which means no more Travis Scott as he was supposed to join Ye on stage.
However, while the rapper’s decision to drop out remains unclear, we have witnessed outbursts from the rapper on social media targeted at Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson and Trevor Noah, among others on social media.
While Kanye’s cancellation leaves Coachella with one spot open, it is unclear whether his spot would be filled.
Back in February, Kanye West threatened to pull out of Coachella unless Billie Eilish offered Travis Scott an apology.
Kanye West and Billie Eilish were scheduled to headline Coachella 2022 alongside Swedish House Mafia and Harry Styles.
