Minznse drops debut album, pens emotional message

Damilola Aminu, better known as Minznse, recently dropped his debut album, ‘By Any Minz’.

The album was released on October 4, 2024. It has 14 songs that have a total runtime of 39 minutes, such as “Revelation,” “Shadow,” “Wo wo,” “Wap,” “Drama,” among others. All the songs are in the Afrobeats genre.

For this album, Minznse collaborated with the legendary Omo Baba Olowo, Davido, and other artists such as Blaqbones, Zinoleesky, and others.

The Never Stop Elevating crooner also penned down an emotional story behind the song and his musical career.

He wrote: “‘By Any Minz’ has been a movement for years, and I know I’ve kept my day ones waiting, but we had to come right! From those times in 2014! My first studio sessions from Babcock to Lawanson, my music being laughed at publicly, having only my brother @zuwamanagement in my corner!

“We started as delusional kids, skipping classes in Uni to print CDs, USB drives, and entering the market to promote music! @boy_director, my brother, shot my first video for next to nothing! I saw all my boys blowing and taking this shit global. We chose the independent route; we knew it wouldn’t be easy, but we promised ourselves to Never Stop Elevating! And we’ve done fucking so!”

The young and upcoming artist declared, “Our turn now‼ BY ANY MINZ, our debut album, the story of my life, is OUT NOW! To these amazing artists/legends who blessed this body of work with their genius, I’m eternally grateful.”
