Highlights From All Runway Shows At Glitz Africa Fashion Week 2017

The Glitz Africa Fashion Week is one of the biggest fashion events in Africa.

This year, the three-day fashion event was held at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra from the 6th to the 8th of October, 2017. There was also a GATF street show on the 5th.

The event saw some of the best designers from across Africa, including TUBO from Nigeria, David Tlale from South Africa and Atto Tetteh from Ghana.

From the look of things, our Spring-Summer closets will be filled with vibrant, colourful, perfectly-tailored outfits.

Day One saw the designers Quuophi Akotuah, Sante Trends, Yale Woody, Yhebe Designs, Monsieur Barros, Jants Collection, Nallem Clothing, Madlyn Mode and Nadrey Laurent

Day Two had a business of fashion seminar panel discussion, fashion graduate shows, a private presentation by Tiffany Amber Culture, and then runway shows by Maybelline New York, Kamsi Tcharles, Awovi GH, Bosi & Charles, Abrante The Gentleman, Aboutthatvcurvylife Collection, David Tlale and another private presentation by Christie Brown.

Day Three: On the final day of the catwalks, the designers which showcased on the runway were Jason Porshe, Afro Mood Trends, Rois N Reine, Nuraniya, Atto Tetteh, TUBO, Chocolate Clothing, Mai Atafo/Weddings and Duaba Serwa.
