Styleh Dedicates Song To Ibadan, New Olubadan

Still basking in the euphoria of the success of his last single ‘Good Vibe’ Delta born Afrobeat singer, Otuata Emeka Seun, popularly known as Styleh, seems not relenting as he continues to rev up his games, as he continues to showcase himself as a force to reckon with in the music industry with his rare craft and growing career.

He career trajectory has seen him worked with prominent personalities and legends in the music industry such as the Fuji icon, Alhaji Abass Akande Obesere on a song titled ‘Portable’ and also featured the Late Fatai Rolling Dollar in a song called “Iwoni”.

To express his love for Ibadan, it culture and people, the singer has released a new song titled ‘What’s Up Ibadan’, which he dedicated to the people of the ancient city and the new Ibadan king, Oba Lekan Balogun, who became the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday, March 11.

The song eulogizes the Ibadan women, its culture, the people in general, and highlights some important places in the city, while the singer confesses what amazes and attracts him to the brown roof capital city of Oyo State.

Speaking on what Inspired the song, the ‘Good Vibe’ crooner said: “The main reason why I decided to do a song for Ibadan is simply because first of all, I am an African man and I believe so much in culture. I have been to many places in Ibadan and I discovered they have beautiful culture and the city is also very beautiful.

“I love Ibadan people because they are very accommodating, loving and caring. I might marry an Ibadan lady he said with a smile. The people are nice and they are very accommodating, so I believe they deserve an evergreen song to appreciate them.”

On what he intends to achieve with the song, Styleh added, “I just want to take Ibadan to the world by promoting this song in other part of this country and also outside Nigeria in other to promote our sweet African culture.”

He further stated that plans are underway to shoot the visuals to the song as soon as possible.

“Yes we are going to shoot the video as soon as possible, in fact we are working on it presently,” he said.
