Popular TikToker Ojesanmi Afeez, aka Oloba Salo, has shared the details of his narrow escape from death after he claimed he was shot three times by suspected hired assassins along Freedom Way, Lekki.
Speaking during a TikTok live session, yesterday, December 10, 2024, after weeks of treatment at Perez Medcare Hospital in Lekki Phase 2, Salo relived the traumatic incident, revealing how he was targeted and vowing to seek justice for the attack.
The ordeal reportedly began when Salo stopped for a drink while on his way to meet someone who had promised him a sum of one million naira.

However, things took a dark turn when he encountered a group of men who addressed him by his real name and claimed to know him from Ibadan. It was then he realised he was their target.
“One of them said, ‘Remove your chain,’” Salo recounted. Before he could respond, a warning shot was fired into the air. Despite the threat, Salo refused to give in.
The gunman shot him once, causing immense pain. Salo said he struggled to breathe as the assailants shot him two more times. “They aimed for my head, but they ran out of bullets,” he recalled.
In a moment of raw anger and pain, Salo cursed his attackers. “You’ll lack money. Those who pointed their guns at me shall never find peace. You’ll die one by one, and in pain. I won’t accept this. You’ll suffer on earth and in heaven,” he added.
