Mr. Eazi, a Nigerian musician and innovator, released a new EP called Something Else early this year. Mr Eazi is a multi-talented musician who does not disappoint with this album, which he defines as “the calm before the storm.”

The 5-track EP will have you swaying and humming along in no time, much like Life Is Eazi, Vol. 1 – Accra To Lagos (2017) and Life Is Eazi, Vol. 2 – Lagos To London (2018).

Mr. Eazi is a world-class artist but his success is a wholesome team effort… Mr. Eazi enlisted the services of Kel P and Jaylon. Kel P is the mastermind behind Burna Boy’s global hit ‘Dangote’’.

“E Be Mad,” produced by Kel P and Jaylon, blends elements of traditional Ghanaian highlife music with Mr. Eazi’s sonorous tenor to create a song he dedicates to “everyone in a long relationship who wants to take it further.”

Something Else is an awesome sound made by awesome producers. Something Else follows Mr. Eazi’s lead track “The Don”. Produced by Killertunes and E Kelly, the operatic afro-trap single was a taste of Mr. Eazi’s ever-expanding creative vision. E Kelly is the mastermind behind Mr. Eazi’s global hit ‘Leg Over’ one of the tracks that boosted Mr. Eazi into the limelight.

Don Eazi also enlists the services of megaproducer Spellz and Blaq Jerzee. If you’ve heard ‘Ma Lo’ by Wizkid and Tiwa Savage then you’ve probably experienced a dose of Spellz handy work. The ‘Keys to the City’ crooner features only one artist in the entire EP. Eazi features Kenyan-based singer Xenia Mannaseh on ‘Cherry’. Xenia is one of 30 emerging artists handpicked by Mr. Eazi to participate in the #emPawa30 talent incubator.
