After selling over 80,000 tickets at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Ayodeji Balogun Ibrahim who is popularly known as Wizkid has once more proved why he is the pioneer of Afrobeat.

On the cold night of 29th August, Wizkid got a sold-out stadium capacity of 800k screaming his name and singing along to his evergreen songs while he performed to the satisfaction of his enthusiasts.

From paying tribute to the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson by unveiling his advanced fashion ‘Thriller’ trademark to leaving unforgettable memories of extraordinary entertainment to the heed of the fans, he earned his deserved honour, the BRIT Billion Award, and made history by becoming the first African musician to attain that.

The Afrobeat Gem announced hosting the London Stadium on this day, 23rd January which immediately started selling at massive rates via fans’ impulse to see the Afrobeat maestro perform once more in grand style.

It didn’t quite sell out as rapidly as many anticipated but in the space of 6 months, the singer sold out all the available tickets leaving him with enough time to prepare for his incredible night.

The stadium concert was included as part of his 6th Studio album ‘More Love Less Ego’ which he termed the ‘last dance’ of his latest album long-term charting album world tour.

Digesting selling out the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Grammy Award-winning singer flew to London a week before the legendary concert where he also went along with his professional team and Family. The Likes of Jada P, her newly welcomed child, and Zion along with the singer’s first Baby Mama, Shola Ogudu who satisfied Wizkid’s fatherhood craving to bore through the proud moment his first fruit would watch him shut down 800k Capacity stadium with his adored qualities from the stands; All turned up for the multi-award-winning singer.

The first day of the incredible week foresaw the Nigerian singer touring Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first time in his career ahead of his sold-out concert scheduled on 29th July 2023.  This evergreen moment earned the singer a football reputation amid how he nailed unexpected flip kicks he portrayed as even more advanced than some football professionals.

29th July featured what evolved to be an upgraded version of the Afrobeat concert amid the view of a heated performance deployed to the taste of craving Afrobeat Fanatics by Wizkid and his Afrobeat shepherds. The likes of Wande Coal, Masego, and Skyla Tyla, opened the concert for fans while the upcoming Afrobeat Gems like Seyi Vibez, LAX, Darkoo, P.Prime, Ms. Banks, Rahman Jago, Bankuli, Rexxie also thrilled the fans creating the momentum the biggest bird embraced and shut down the show with his hit songs.

Thrilling throngs of thousands of excited civilians from across the globe, the ‘Bad to me’ crooner called his ‘More Less Ego’ a wrap and made history.

He was rapidly recognized by the BRIT Billion Award Authority who honored him with a rare plaque after earning a whopping tally of 1Billion UK streams making him the first Nigerian music star to attain the massive feet.
