For the past few days, Nigerians have expressed shock at the death of a young contractor Joseph Blankson who died while trying to rescue people from a boat mishap.

In the unfortunate incident, the 36-year-old had rescued 13 people and was trying to help the 14th when he died from possible exhaustion, the Rivers State Police Command said.
The father of two’s incident attracted the attention of Nigerians including the Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
