Three former Senate Presidents have urged members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to work hard and unite to take over the country’s mantle of leadership come 2023.

Three former Senate Presidents have urged members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to work hard and unite to take over the country’s mantle of leadership come 2023.

Former Senate Presidents Iyorchia Ayu, David Mark and Bukola Saraki stated this, yesterday at the PDP North Central Zonal Congress, held at the Aper Aku Stadium in Makurdi, Benue State capital.

Ayu, who was overjoyed that one of the party’s founding members, Prof. Jerry Gana had finally returned to the party after sojourning elsewhere, assured that the crop of party leaders would team up to ensure victory for the party at all levels in 2023.

He said: “Now that Nigerians have tasted a second wife, they know how beautiful the PDP is. And with the return of Gana, PDP will get back on track in 2023 and the whole of North Central will be governed by PDP.

“Even though Nigeria is at the verge of disintegration, Nigerians should not be deterred by the failed government of APC.”

On his part, Mark, who agreed with Ayu, said it was for that reason Nigerians need to “change the change.”

Saraki, who is the Chairman, PDP Reconciliatory Committee, said it was time for the North Central to go and recover its mandate from the remaining five states.
