Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has been projected as a true ‘unifier’ that could restore the country’s lost glory.

The NNPP presidential running mate, Archbishop designate Issac Idahosa made the declaration during the inauguration of Ammana Leadership Institute in Kano.

Idahosa, the Presiding Pastor of God First Ministry, Lekki, Lagos explained that the NNPP presidential candidate remained a detribalised personality with proven competence to address the current challenges bedeviling the country.

Bishop Idahosa reminded that while Nigerians are yearning for positive change from the bad governance of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the ugly experience of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), NNPP has come with renewed hope the nation needs.

Acknowledging the fact of the new beginning of NNPP in the nation’s political landscape, Idahosa maintained that the party is fast gaining ground across the country beyond the imagination of its political opponents.

He noted that NNPP is the only solution required to rescue insecurity, poor healthcare system, bad economy and endemic corruption threatening the survival of the country.

“Nigerians truly need change because they have been disappointed by the APC and PDP. They know how Nigeria was and what it is today. NNPP is out to rescue Nigeria and to proffer solutions to insecurity, poor economy and bad governance.

“And Nigerians will be sincere they will tilt towards NNPP. We know it is not going to be easy because of the level of hunger and poverty. You want to tell people not to take N10,000 from APC and PDP, yet we would continue to appeal to voters’ conscience that when they collect money, they have already mortgaged their health, education and Infrastructure for the next four years,” Bishop Idahosa noted.

On his part, the National Chairman of the party, Professor Rufai Ahmad Alkali, applauded Kwankwaso’s selflessness and sacrifice to build human development, especially in the area of education and health.

The former PDP national secretary noted that Kwankwaso will ensure justice, equity, and fairness to all Nigerians regardless of tribe, religion, and region if voted to power.

NNPP presidential candidate, Kwankwaso, who applauded the party’s leadership and well-wishers for their love and support on the occasion of his birthday, pledged to rededicate his life to the service of humanity.

Kwankwaso, who earlier unveiled the Ammana leadership institute said the institute is certified by relevant authorities to run academic training and leadership development. He said the institute is presently affiliated with universities in the US, UK, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and other nations in the middle east.

Kwankwaso also commissioned a central mosque and donated same in the name of his late father Alh. Musa Saleh Kwankwaso as part of activities marking his 66th anniversary.
