The Ajadi Rescue Movement (ARM) has formally inaugurated its Adamawa State chapter with a call for political structures rooted in transparency and service delivery ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The launch, which took place at the Nurses’ House in Jimeta, Yola, brought together local government executives, grassroots representatives, and regional leaders who emphasised the need for credibility in Nigeria’s democratic process.
State Coordinator, Hon. Rilwan Idris Yahya, said the chapter would be guided by the principles of accountability and integrity. “We are not just building another political structure; we are building trust with the people. Our mission is simple: service must get to the grassroots, and leaders must emerge through the people’s will,” he said.
Northern States Coordinator, Comrade Ibrahim Shuaibu, explained that the movement’s focus extended beyond politics to humanitarian work, noting its previous interventions across states. “Ajadi Rescue Movement is a movement of hope. We have carried out humanitarian services across states, reaching vulnerable people, and the message is clear: Nigerians deserve leaders who understand service, not self-interest,” he stated.
Speaking on behalf of the 21 Local Government Area Coordinators, State Secretary Hon. A.A. Mubarak pledged to uphold the founder’s vision. “Adamawa has been remembered, and we are grateful. Our task is to show by our actions that we can deliver on the promises made to the people. We will not fail,” he remarked.
The women’s wing also expressed its support, with Assistant Women’s Leader, Ms Comfort Ndondo, describing the initiative as a platform for empowerment. “When women are empowered and communities supported, society rises. That is why Ajadi Rescue Movement gives us hope—it is not politics as usual; it is about humanity,” she said.
The Taraba State Coordinator, Comrade Dabo Nuhu Muhammad, gave a profile of the movement’s founder, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, highlighting his work as an entrepreneur and philanthropist committed to youth and community development.
The inauguration concluded with interactive sessions that reinforced commitments to grassroots mobilisation. Participants said the Adamawa chapter was prepared to serve as a rallying point for credible leadership in the build-up to 2027.
