21 ships discharge petrol, other commodities at Lagos ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Friday said that 21 ships were discharging petroleum products and other commodities at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos.

NPA, in its shipping position, said that 34 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods were expected to arrive Lagos ports between June 17 and June 26.

It said that the expected ships would ferry into the country, buck wheat, bulk sugar, Low Pure Fuel Oil (LPFO), base oil, diesel, empty trucks, containers, bulk charcoal, frozen fish and petrol.

The document indicated that 10 ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with petrol, bulk gypsum, Container, and general cargo.
