The award winners include ‘Young Business Leader of the Year (West Africa),’ presented by Lancaster University and Transnational Education Africa; Seyi Abolaji and Seun Abolaji, co-founders of Wilson’s Juice Company; ‘Entrepreneur of the Year, West Africa,’ presented by Lagos State, Suleiman Yusuf, Chief Executive of Blue Camel Energy; ‘Businesswomen of the Year, West Africa  Sola David-Borha, Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Holdings, and the award for the ‘Innovator of the Year, West Africa’ went to Bright Simons, President of mPedigree Network

Others were Aliko Dangote, Founder of the Dangote Group, as the ‘Philanthropist of the Year, West Africa; Abdulsamad Rabiu, Founder of BUA Group, as the ‘Industrialist of the Year, West Africa,’ while the award of the   ‘Company of the Year, West Africa went to Dangote Group and the award of the ‘Business Leader of the Year, West Africa,’ presented by Bosch went to Issam Darwish, Chief executive of IHS Holdings. ‘Lifetime Achievement Award, West Africa,’ presented by GT Bank was awawrded to Dr. Christopher Kolade, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Pan-Atlantic University.
