The abducted former minister of state for education, Senator Iyabo Anisulowo, has been rescued.

Anisulowo was kidnapped last Wednesday on Igbogila Road in Yewa North Local Government of Ogun State on her way from her farm located at Sawonjo, Yewa South of the State.

Ogun State  Police Command spokesman Muyiwa Adejobi, who  confirmed the news said the former minister was rescued at about 7pm at Gbegbelawo, a suburb of Olorunda town, located in Yewa North local government of the state.
