Professor Ango Abdullahi has charged the Federal Government to be more sensitive to the yearnings of Fulani herders in the country, giving them attention like other farmers who enjoy subsidy for their businesses.
According to him, about 600 grazing reserves abandoned across the north is another key issue the government must urgently address.
Abdullahi stated yesterday in Bauchi that a lot of agricultural policies were not synchronised, as over 600 unattended grazing reserves in northern Nigeria needed rehabilitation.
“I think this is the little you can do for the herdsman,” he added.
