ABUAD lauds ranking as best varsity in Nigeria, 400 best globally
The management of Afe Babalola University Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) has lauded the Times Higher Education World University for ranking the institution as the best university in Nigeria and one of the best 400 in the world.
The top three universities ranked in Nigeria include ABUAD (1st), Covenant University (2nd) and University of Ibadan (3rd).
Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Smaranda Olarinde, in a statement by Head, Corporate Affairs of ABUAD, Mr. Tunde Olofintila, in Ado-Ekiti yesterday, attributed the uncommon feat to the co-operation of the National Universities Commission (NUC) and the Medical & Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), among others.
