ACPN National Chairman Kidnapped In Kogi
THE National Chairman of Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), Alhaji Gani Galadima, has been abducted in Kogi State.
The Guardian learnt that Galadina was abducted somewhere between Obajana and Osara on Thursday on his way from Abuja to attend the burial ceremony of one of his elder brothers in Ilorin.
Galadima was the presidential candidate of the ACPN in the March/April general elections.
It was gathered that his abductors were demanding the sum of N40 million for his release.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ovye Williams, who confirmed the incidence, said the Police had deployed officers on the trail of the kidnappers, adding that they would soon be apprehended to face the wrath of the law.
