The Proprietor, Redeemer’s College of Technology and Management (RECTEM), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has underscored the importance of technical education, saying it will always go a long way in solving problem of unemployment in the country.

Addressing the media yesterday at the School’s Multipurpose hall, Redemption camp on the upcoming 2nd Convocation of the institution slated for April 8, 2022, the Rector of the school, Dr. (Mrs.)
Stella Mofunanya, said the institution would be graduating 92 National Diploma students from four different schools of the college.

“We are glad to announce that our graduates are not only academically fit, but are also entrepreneurially solid, ready to create employment as they have all been empowered with one skill or the other in line with TVET goals as buttressed by the Executive Secretary of National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), Prof. Idris Bugaje.

“RECTEM, though young has made tremendous academic progress as well as numerical growth since inception in 2017.
“RECTEM, a trail-blazer in raising champions, is about to present into labour markets trail-blazers and milestone movers, who have gone through the four walls of the college and are ready to impact their generation positively.

“These are knowledgeable and innovative graduates worthy in skills and character, who will become first class professionals in the fields of Science, Technology and Management,” she said.

There were displays of the works done by the students in their various departments which attested to their readiness for the next step.
