ADP chief sues party’s ex-scribe, demands N10b
The National Chairman of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), Yusuf Yabagi Sani, has taken former National Secretary of the party, Dr. James Okoroma, to court, demanding N10 billion as damage for falsely accusing him of forgery.
Sani is also asking the court to restrain the defendant from any further publication of the false allegations against him.
In a statement yesterday in Abuja, the ADP national chairman said the defendant severally in various publications defamed him and made some false allegations of forgery against him.
“In reaction to false allegations of forgery and other falsehood against me by Dr. James Okoroma, I have instituted a defamation suit against him and three others,” he said.
