The Mentor Match-up Challenge 7.0 (MMC 7.0), scheduled for Thursday, 4 December, and Friday, 5 December 2025, is pleased to announce the participation of indigenous energy companies as key sponsors and speakers at the event. With the theme “Building Bridges for Equitable Trade,” the conference recognises that reliable energy infrastructure is the bedrock of industrial growth and cross-border commerce. Consequently, this year’s event will focus on the role of sustainable energy in powering Africa’s industrial revolution.
Nepal Energies, a Pan-African energy company operating in over six African countries and counting, is the headline sponsor of MMC 7.0, joined by other industry players including the African Energy Chamber, Waltersmith, Rainoil Limited, Mainland Oil and Gas and many others. These organisations represent key players in the downstream value chain of the energy sector and will lead critical dialogues regarding energy security, local content, and infrastructure development required to support Africa’s industrial revolution.
The participation of key stakeholders across the energy value chain is crucial for setting the tone of the discussions over the course of the two-day event, which is aligned with the theme “Building Bridges for Equitable Trade.”
Eradication of energy poverty in Africa and promoting a just energy transition is central to building Africa’s industrial backbone.
As MMC 7.0 seeks to translate the vision of the AfCFTA into actionable outcomes, access to energy remains a primary concern for founders looking to scale. Some of the confirmed speakers include industry leaders such as Abdulrazaq Isa OFR, Chairman of Waltersmith; Ngozi Ekeoma, GMD of Nepal Energies; Austin Avuru, Chairman of AA Holdings; Gabriel Ogbechie OON, GMD of Rain Oil and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eterna Plc; and many others. They will provide delegates with insights into the current energy landscape and future projections that will drive more indigenous participation in the sector and fuel industrial development.
Additionally, business leaders from finance, manufacturing, hospitality, tourism and other sectors will be speaking at MMC 7.0. By curating a room full of business leaders from energy, agribusiness, manufacturing, the creative economy and beyond, the event highlights its holistic approach to mentorship.
MMC 7.0 fosters a cross-pollination of ideas that is essential for solving the continent’s complex economic challenges.
MMC 7.0 is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 4 December, and Friday, 5 December 2025, commencing at 8:00 AM daily at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
