Urges Army To Produce Corpses Buried In Mass Graves
AGAIN, members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), popularly known as Shiites have protested against the death of their members who sustained various degrees of bullet wounds during the clash with soldiers in Zaria recently, and those being kept in prison custody.
The Islamic group said that the continuous detention of their members in prison custody without adequate medical attention was a breach of fundamental human rights.
In another statement by the spokesman of IMN, Mallam Ibrahim Musa, the Shiites Islamic group said yesterday, “there was unfortunately yet another death in detention of a member of the Islamic Movement (IMN) shot by the Nigerian military during the Zaria massacre and denied medical attention this morning and his name is Abbas Isiyaku.
