NEW entrant into the Nigerian aviation business, Air Peace, led the list of top 10 trending Nigerian brands on the Internet in 2015, according to latest ranking released by Google.

The list tracked brands that had the highest spike in traffic over a sustained period in 2015 as compared to 2014.

Allen Oyeama runs the airline, which made its debut in 2013.

Online and offline retail store, Yudala, took the second spot after launching in August last year. Free online classified site, jiji.com, came third, ahead of online retail site, Payporte, online classifieds site, Efritin.com and online shopping site, Kaymu.

Innjoo, a mobile device firm made the list at the eight position, cashing on its low-end, fairly priced smartphones and tablets, and is ahead of regional and International carrier, Medview Airline as well as local telecommunications operator, Smile Communications.
