Stoppage of subvention to government-owned tertiary institutions in Oyo State? What follows? Reduction of standard of education because the institutions will not be able to fund many projects that can aid students’ learning. What a shame. Is this progress or retrogression? Governor Ajimobi does not seem to have a clue as to how to move this state forward education-wise. There is need for a serious re-think here to prevent killing education which can lead to backwardness.
