The Chief Executive Officer of Neskil Integrated Supplies and Big Pee Entertainment, Mr. Oluwasola Ajisafe has advised the federal government to listen and heed calls by Nigerians for good governance.

In a chat with The Guardian, the CEO stressed that failure on the part of the government to listen to the yearnings and aspirations of the youths led to the #EndSARS protest which rocked the nation in October last year.

According to him, government seeming insincerity, especially as witnessed at the investigative panels set up to look into protest, amount to attempt to cover up the truth, twist the narrative and manipulate the people regardless of the fact.

Ajisafe noted that the government’s stand has remained ambiguous while the military has refused to participate in the panel any longer.

He expressed surprise that the government, amidst the ongoing investigation and controversy, returned the tollgate to LCC. The business mogul said such an action corroborate the belief that the government is only interested in revenue generation.

Ajisafe warned of possible imminent revolution if currennt crops of leaders continue to be self-centred, denying Nigerians benefits of governance.

Making reference to the COVID-19 relief materials meant for Nigerians that the government locked up instead of distributing them to Nigerians, the entrepreneur wondered if they kept those items to be distributed to the same Nigerians during next elections. He described this as an act of disloyalty, calling on leaders to stop their manipulations.

Ajisafe noted that #EndSARS protest was a pointer to the fact that there is increased awareness that masses can be liberated from tyranny and act of brutalities that they have been facing for years.

He said what the people need now are good leaders, not tyrants and thieves.
He remarked that it should be clear the intention of the youth to change the status quo because of the children yet unborn.
