Alumni donate multi-million-naira school projects

As part of their 25th anniversary celebration, the 1998 set of Unity High School (UHS), Oshodi, has renovated some infrastructural facilities in the school, estimated at N10 million.

The president, Hope Ramsey, said the set embarked on the projects to make the school a unique one among the committee of schools in the area and the state.

She listed the projects to include replacement of PVC ceiling for four classrooms, painting and demarcation of the school hall, fitting of four marker boards, replacement of classrooms windows and doors, as well as louvre blades for laboratories.

She said the first phase have been done and assured of the group’s commitment to complete outstanding projects.

“We have the passion to provide a condusive learning environment for students, we don’t want them to experience the conditions we went through during our time.”

A representative of the pioneer teachers of the school, Olaleye Olusegun, applauded the old students for the gesture and called on stakeholders to support the government in the task of improving the sector.
