Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has commissioned the popular Brown Street in Oshodi; Okota Road in Isolo and a police post in Ejigbo areas of the state.

Speaking at the commissioning, the governor, who was represented by the Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs, Muslim Folami, said he had promised during his inauguration to run a government of inclusion where everyone has a say.

Also, Ambode assured residents that the 114 inner roads embarked upon by his administration in all of the state’s 57 councils would be completed by the end of next month.

He urged community leaders and residents alike to jealously guard government infrastructure within their domains.

The governor had earlier commissioned various projects in different pars of the state.

While assuring that his administration would make the councils very vibrant in delivering the dividends of democracy to their various communities, the governor assured that he would continue to support the third tier of government to provide basic infrastructure for the people of the state.

At the Apapa local council, the projects commissioned by Ambode include nine roads within the council’s Business District, an ultra-modern Liverpool jetty, 12 blocks of classrooms at Methodist Nursery and Primary School and four blocks of classrooms at Arakan Barracks Nursery and Primary School with standard facilities such as modern toilets, sick bay, furniture, ceiling fans, ramps to accommodate the physically challenged among others.
