The CJ, who sobbed while being sworn in by Governor Muhammadu Yahaya at Government House, Lafia, later told reporters that she was overwhelmed by
‘personal issues.’

“I became emotional because of certain things that were personal to me,” she said.

Justice Muhammad added that it was not unusual for her to be carried away by emotion, noting: “Those close to me know how emotional I can be.”

Earlier, the governor pledged continued symbiotic relationship with the judiciary.

According to him, the CJ is one of the finest in the sector.

His words: “She has all it takes to administer justice and fairness, exactly what we require. We seek a judiciary that will dispense fairness and justice on the populace, especially now that we are into political transition.

“We shall continue to make available funding that will aid this.”

He pleaded with politicians and their supporters to play the game according to rules.
